I had plans to go to the Lake Michigan shoreline with friends to go rock hunting. But there is the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon, so we rescheduled. Thunderstorms coming in off Lake Michigan can be big and severe. They can also fall apart as they cross the water and cheat us out of much needed rain.

Sorry you had to delay your hunt! I have always wanted to do that! Sounds like fun! I like to walk farm fields for native american artifacts. I find some cool rocks too , geodes, conglomerates, banded slate ect.
