It was a long stressful weekend that started Friday morning. The trip up to the Knoxville, TN area to see a granddaughter married off was more than we bargained for. From Friday AM until Sunday PM we spent way to much time driving. Some really crazy stuff in the mountains and also on the interstates that became slow moving parking lots. Just glad to be home and can sit and hold the chicks and older chickens.

Was the wedding good?

Yes for most of it. Travel between the wedding venue in an elaborate barn style building and the 15 person rental resort place high up on a mountain was a bear. Figuratively and in reality. Could leave food in the van. Was a bit worried about the few crumbles of starter grower feed I had spilled and not vacuumed out. All outside trash cans were secured like Fort Knox. Will never go back.
