My kids think I'm replacing them with chickens and goats and such. Maybe I am, OH well. I come into the house when they are around.

I have 30 chickens and only use around 100 pounds of food a month! What kind of food are you using? Better food lasts longer because they eat less.

My piggeronie penguins (chickens that eat alot) go through a bag a day if I let them!!! They get amish made (like you watch them make it) food. Thats a false statement to say they wont eat much of good food. Or maybe its my breeds? Idk

Good morning! I have to share a funny this morning. I have a White Giant rooster named Bob. Yesterday afternoon he was standing guard over his girls while they were dust bathing. He spotted a squirrel eating from the pan I had put some corn in. Bob chased that squirrel up a tree then stood there and crowed at him like he was daring him to come down and fight. The squirrel barked back at him taunting him Bob paced back and forth between the hens and the pan until all the hens were done with their bath. The squirrel stayed in the tree.
