SCG you look so much like my niece. Every time I see a picture of you I think of her.

I hope her nose is at least smaller. I'm over it now (I'm like a bloodhound, I can sniff anything out, it's a great benefit... most of the time) but it was tough growing up!

I don't think so. Poor girl, she got her father's small frame (I think she is only around 5') but her mother's nose. My sister was 5'11". I think she is pretty much over it too. She grew up into a pretty neat person to sit and chat with. So greatful to her for going to live with my mom. Now I don't have to worry as much.

I'm lucky I didn't get my mom's frame. She's only 4 feet 9 or 10 inches. I can rest my chin on the top of her head. She should have been an extra in the Hobbit movies. BF is 6 feet 4 inches - seeing them next to each other makes me laugh.

That was great of your mom to take her in. Seems like you got all the sense, rationality and responsibility in the family.

I think so too. My dad asked me one time before he passed away why I was the only one of us three kids that "got it". Took that as one of the few compliments I got from him. He was not one to lavish praise or say much. He was a typical "stoic Mainer". You know the type

Ayuh I most certainly do.

I have to say I was always jealous as a kid about how pretty (and small nosed) my sister was. Thankfully, now that I'm an adult I realize I got the better end of the deal: rationality and brains. And I can clean up nice, if I want to.

Ok so now for Wisher. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I picture you with shortish brown hair, probably around 5'5". I think you are thin (from running around with your boys) and that you laugh a lot. I picture you with either a smile or a smirk on your face most of the time. I see you wearing the kind of shirts you described for me but sleeveless instead of long sleeved. I definitely think you wear gardening gloves.

Everyone looks lovely in their photos. When I was in college, I weighed 98 and wore a 3/4, but time and gravity haven't been kind

. Plus it seems that I inherited my mother's metabolism and height. She's 4'10" and I'm 5'1".

I think my two roosters have fowlpox. Here I am thinking I'm doing a good job taking care of my chickens, scooping the poop every morning, washing the waterers, doing the occasional check for lice and mites. They both have black spots on their combs.

Stumpy has it been really cold where you are? Could it be some frostbite?

We haven't had a single frost yet and are expecting 80 tomorrow. The ticks and mosquitoes have been bad this year; the mosquitoes still are.
