The Olive-Egger thread!

I believe it's any barred hen....tho if hen looks barred but might be a mix, it might not pan out.

But that's what I did and the resulting progeny wound up being sex linked, the cockerels were barred and the girls solid black, but it wasn't apparent right away as the boys didn't have white spots on their head. I had to wait until the actual barred feathering came in.
 
Hey guys I hatched about 8 olive eggers. I thought 6 were roosters but now I'm having second thoughts on 2. They are a little red but not near as much as the others. It's obvious the moms were the ameracauna and the dads were the black copper maran because of the comb and beard. Tips on sexing the olive eggers?

How old are they?
I find that the color of comb at 5-6 weeks to be pretty darn accurate.
