The Olive-Egger thread!

My Marans were laying around 24 weeks, my Lavender Ameraucana's took about 32 weeks. They hatched at the same time too. So I thought they were hiding them. But no, just slow at laying. My girls are getting close so I'm interested in seeing their eggs.

Noooo! The comb of my only lavender colored OE chick is starting to turn pink at 3 weeks. I was so sure he was going to be a girl. It's always your favorite ones, isn't it?

Has anyone ever crossed a Pendesenca rooster on Easter Egger hen to create Olive Egger, i have 2 EE pullets i put in with one of my pendesenca roos to see what i would get.....just wondering if someone else has tried this before what kind of results did you get?

You will definitely get an Olive Egger. Hatch out the bluest eggs. Welcome to the Olive side
