Quote: I've never hatched from them and they haven't laid yet. I was going to see what I got and will probably put those girls under my Olive Egger Roo. They should start to lay any day now, the BR I have in there finally laid an egg at close to 30 weeks

I have other roos so I am not in a bad pinch... I have been there and don't want to be roo less anymore. I have 2 Black Copper roos and 1 more Blue Copper. I started to grow out a few little roos a few moths ago, but I don't think I can use them..... but not ready to sell them yet.
If anyone is listening.... learn for our little mistakes.... keep more roos if at all POSSIBLE. If you don't you will lose it and be in a mess ..... JMHO.....
Well then when you eggs get her, I will hope for a boy or two.![]()

Quote: I got eggs, unfortunately they are from someone on here, that wasn't being very honest about his birds or with everyone he took from. Unlike others that got totally rip off, I have 4 out of the six developing
I will let you know what mine do. I have 2nd generation OE over OE 2nd and 1st generation. Back to the CCL would any of you consider buying eggs from OE that has been crossed with the CCL.So far I am not a fan of OE x OE..... I think the Original cross gives the best color. I am getting eggs from REALLY Dark like a marans (but with green undertones) to Green. I think I am going to stick with the Marans x Ams cross.
Quote: I don't think you would get Olive Eggers really with that cross..... they might lay green, but I would think more would be on the bluer side.
