The Olive-Egger thread!

I suppose it could be but from what I learned on this OE thread is that BCM roosters(or maybe some BCM rosters) have Dominant Black gene like I said earlier ALL of my OE chicks I have hatched from my BCM rooster and EE hens(silver duckwing in color and also Partridge) ever single chick has hatched out solid black. My guess would be the other rooster not the BCM is the culprit. But I am no expert on genetics. I cant wait to see pics. Do you know what breed the other rooster is?

here is my breeding stock...ill get chick pics tomorrow

Worst case scenario I should be able to tell by their combs as they mature right? I have eight chicks colored like bcms and I only hatched out 5 bcm eggs so i have 3 that I need to identify.

All of my yellow/brown chipmunk chicks have feathered or lightly feathered shanks so I am pretty confident that my bcm roo is the father.

Also I called the lady that I bought the pullets from and she said they free ranged with a RIR and a RIW roos.
