Hi Hangtown Farms,

I just have one partridge penedesenca hen, last year I had partridge and crele penedesenca, one crele roo and 12 hens. I love this Spanish breeds. Unfortunately a hungry fox also loved them.

I am sorry about that. I love my Penedesenca. I also have Empordanesa and dream of someday being able to bring in Blue Tails

Black is dominant--Black with some copper at the neck for pullets.

Edited to add: The above is most likely. I hope you get some Blues or Splash chicks. There is a different black--Dilute Black that does that.

Oh ok thanks!!! I was bummed when you said black is dominant. Would love something like blue or splash! I did a test batch of 7 eggs that hatched last weekend. (my very first try at incubating) 6 black with white chest and 1 brownish-orange colored one. 7 out of 8 hatched! These were BCM roo with welsummer, BO, BA, Barred Rock, and Red sex link. I saved all my green eggs for my 2nd try!

What do you all think of my OE its name is Sharkie, but I am not quite sure of the gender. It is 7 weeks old (hatched Aug 16th) and is a cross between Ameraucana and BCM. I am hoping for some olive eggs of my own
