I want some single comb olive layers!

I will have some single comb olive eggers hatch on the 3rd of April. They will be Cream Legbar over Marans or Welsummers. Also want to reduce my flock by getting rid of the two FBCMs, one Welsummer, one Black Astrolorp, and one dark color RI Red. All started laying about 6 weeks ago. Kern

The second Olive Egger I gave to my parents finally starting laying (or at least laying consistently enough to confirm both are laying!)

Well thank you! I was told they were olive Eggers when I bought them but he said they would be a VERY light olive...I believe he was mistaken? Lol

@KernH Would any of those hens happen to be annoyingly constantly broody? I've decided to add a couple broody hens to my flock.

And how broody are Olive eggers from BCM over Americana? I have some in my incubator now.

This is Willow and Doc Jr.

I got Willow and Doc 3 years ago as day old (give or take) CHICKS at our local grocery/feed store... They were identical when I brought them home...till they started to feather out and then Doc turned white with black specks...then he grew up to look like Doc Jr.

I wasn't going to keep Doc Jr, when he was 6 months old I was going to rehome him, then Doc was killed by a dog...

I'm not sure who Doc Jr's Mother is...pretty sure its not Willow...he doesn't have the green legs...the only other candidates were Rhode Island reds, gold sex links and a buff orpington...

The egg is from Willow and have 4 of her eggs in the incubator that go into lock down tomorrow...

They will be 3/4 olive egger... 1/4 ? Lol I hope they lay green eggs ;-)
