The Wellie hen I have lays a so-so terra cotta...medium to lighter.
These are the first eggs from all three, so colors may change a bit...time will tell.
All 3 birds have modified pea combs...but the EE maternal aspect adds all kind of possibilities.
Really wish I could get some Marans and Ameraucana....but it's not likely.

Yep, no mistaking that! The comb development also makes it very apparent. He is an early maturing boy. I am going on 9 weeks old and neither of my two boys are crowing yet, in the past they often have by now but I am not complaining...
