The Olive-Egger thread!

I love to sit and watch my chickens interact with each other. They are so funny! Here aer a couple pictures of my Olive eggers... I hope you get a laugh at them!

Wormy puts her head trough this gap every time she prepares to lay an egg. When another chicken walks by on the ground below her, she warns them not to come any closer... but she's 2 feet off the ground.

This is Crook Neck... There is something off about her, but we love her for it.

Garfunkel has no idea that Spotty has spotted his tail feathers whipping in the wind... He'll find out when she snatches one! LOL

That last hen is GORGEOUS. What is her ancestry?

Thank you. Her father is a blue-splash Ameraucana and her mother is a French Splash Marans. I can't wait for her first eggs. Six of her half sisters are already laying blue and olive eggs. If you want hatching eggs I can contact the breeder for you.

Edited to add.... both of the other two pictures are of her half siblings

Looks like crooked neck could have wry neck.I think to fix it you give them vitamin b12 supplements but I'll have to check.

Ugh. So pretty, but I swore to my family that I wouldn't hatch chicks again till spring, and I think they might kick me out of the house if I try to turn my incubators back on. Apparently 200 birds is "enough" or some such nonsense, I don't know. I would love if I could get their contact info though, I'd be super excited to get some birds like that come next year... you can bet my incubators will be running and ready the very first day of spring.
