I've got ~13 OE eggs in the incubator set to hatch on May 5th. I am using a dark egg laying Amber Link who lays daily large brown eggs crossed with a University of Arkansas Blue Cockerel who is homozygous for the blue egg gene. Looking forward to see what feather coloring I'll get. Planning to keep on the blue chicks and sell all the black/white chickens that hatch.

I am hoping for blue with red leakage on my Olive Eggers kind of like this.


Trying to replace this hen (Red Sex Link x Blue egg cockerel) who laid a nice Olive colored egg. She was one of my most productive hens only skipping 1 day out of the month. Unfortunately a raccoon got her :-(.
