Has anyone crossed an olive Egger on a silkie? If so what color eggs did you end up with??

Ok, here are mine from Meyer. They have a little more color now as these were taken just before the site moved.
Unnamed rooster (yes he was wanted)

Hazel

Blue

Piper (My favorite! She loves to be petted and to sit on my hand.)

I always thought my olive egger was a roo due to it's fairly larger comb but the older it gets, I get confusef by it's body. Hen or roo thoughts??

I'm not an expert by any means, but assuming your chicken is around 14 weeks I'd say a pullet. Hackle and saddle feathers would start showing around then, which is a roo only characteristic.

Your Blue looks like my Thunder who I thought was a roo and now I am unsure. He/she is 12 weeks. It is the one below.

My Olive Egger had about the same size comb a few weeks ago at 10weeks. I thought for sure a roo but now I'm changing my mind to pullet. Your's looks similar.

Those who have a homozygous flock- how did you select your roosters? Any tips for those trying to get there?

Hello, I am new on the chicken life. I have 2 chicks between 4 and 6 weeks old but i don't know what breed they are, they told me when i bought them they were Olive Egger but I'm not sure. Also i need to know if I have any pullet or cockerel. So please if any of you can help me I'll truly appreciate. Thanks...

These are my Oliver Eggers I got from Chicken Scratch Poultry in Illinois. I'm still stumped as to whether they are hens or roos.
