I need help sexing my sweet little Olive Egger. About 10 weeks.

I am in the same boat trying to sex mine. Yours is 2 weeks older than mine. Definitely a Maran Cross. Wish I could help answer but I'm seeing characteristics that are confusing. Generally you should start seeing sickle feathers around 16 weeks, that is a tell tell sign for sure. It appears you have some saddle feathers coming in and a few appear to be round which would indicate hen but I am still not sure so don't put stock in that yet. Also I don't see waddles yet and my maran cross roos had those very early on at 8 weeks so more than likely you have a hen.

Got my first OE this weekend. Here she is with her friend a Svart Hona Cochin cross. Does anyone else have an OE that purs? She sweetly sits in my lap and dozes off. Then as I pet her she trills and purs.

Here is my 14 weel old OE. We just call her Olive lol! Cant wait for her to start laying! And my big jersey giant in the back ground. He's my protector. He's been making sure all the hens are inside every night right before the coop door closes.

Here is Vera(it's what I came up with for verde lol) She is huge! She's 10 weeks old. Hoping she's not a Roo. Kinda hard to tell with no comb or wattles. I love her muffs. She's a cross of Maran & Ameracauna from Meyer Hatchery.
