The Warden, where in Northern CA are you at? Anywhere close to the Bay Area? I'd love to have some of your Olive Egger chicks! Those 3 babies are so adorable.
I'm raising my first 3 EE chicks right now, they're the sweetest things. All of the right now look like the typical chipmunk patterned color, with slight variations, I'm hoping they'll all feather out differently.

Did I mention I'd love a little blue chick? L0L. I don't have any blues right now, well sorta, I've got BW Ameraucanas from pips&peeps that I'm planning on crossing with some of my other birds to make some various EEs with. Also planning on breeding some of them together, they're gorgeous birds!
ETA: Forgot to mention... watch Kathy very closely, she'll swipe our little Olive Eggers out from under us before we even know it!

That's not far at all! I could easily drive up over a weekend. Where are you at new2chooks? If we're all 3 close (generally speaking) then I might be able to offer up some chickies of my own. I'm hatching Heritage Delawares at the moment, or I will be as soon as I get my eggs in Monday!
