We've been calling him Sweet Cheeks. But that's not a very manly name. Thinking of changing it to Puff (for Puffy cheeks or Puff the Magic Dragon). His beard is so puffy, it almost blocks his eyes.

I'm posting some pictures as I would love to hear if you guys think I have these sexed correctly. This is a nice sampling of my lovely Barred Olive Egger chickies that I hatched out from bycer OnTheSpot and they are just about 8 weeks old now. I tagged the boy and girl barred chicks with orange, blue and green velcro around their legs so I could keep track of who I photographed... the velcro doesn't seem to bother them at all

and it'll be super easy to remove (and reuse!).

Here are my boys, they all have larger red combs, slower feathering and are lighter in coloring -

Here are my girls, they all have smaller pink combs, feathered in fast and are darker in coloring -

And last, here is my blue boy, or maybe he is a splash - I'm not sure and would love opinions on him -
