Yep! I had four as of last night! I woke up to three more this morning!! (Seven, yikes!) I put them in the brooder, and low and behold, I can hear another peeping inside the egg! All I can say is unbelievable! It was really cold here during the storms that lead to the power outage. The incubator got down to 57 twice! Life never ceases to amaze me!

Hardy little buggers aren't they. Good thing for us Mother Nature is strong!

Yes! I forgot to mention that the eggs are from Alicefelldown!

These eggs are every shade of olive! So nice...... So, it was very sad when the power went out, and I thought that I lost them! Thanks for all the encouragement!

I will post pictures soon!

Hi, Cydney! WELCOME to BYC and the Olive Egger thread! They are awesome eggs that these gals lay - I just LOVE them!

Wynette,

Nope, they are mine all mine!

I hatched them from my flock. They are pure Ameraucana's over one of my roosters. (Moose-welsummer or Ford-olive egger) The roosters were running together at that point, so I can't be sure which fathered them, although I suspect Moose did.

I'm now crossing their eggs back over Ford, my olive egger roo to hopefully darken them. So the offspring will be blue, black or splash. (already had someone hatch a splash too!!!)
