Wow....this thread is really interesting. I will be honest and tell u I have only read the first 10 pages...I will continue reading, but it all makes my head spin.
I am interested in getting olive eggs and pink ones.
These r the chicken I have:
1 EE Roo. Very handsome. Red and green body with burnt orange and gold hackles....has a strawberry or pin cushion kinda comb.
Black Jersey Giant Roo
NH Red Roo
Dark Cornish roo
Hens:
black giants
Black austrolorps
Barred rocks
Red stars
Black stars
Buff Orps
NH Reds
Sl Wyandotts
Ameracauna (probably a version of EE, I got at local co-op not a breeder) aren't laying yet--not sure on egg color. At least one is pea combed--the other 2 might be single, they are still so young. One is definitely bearded and muffed.
I also have white leghorns..Roo and hens... Just FYI.
Anyway:: can I get olive and pink colored eggs with these chickens...if so...help me out with the combinations... And be gentle--don't make it so difficult on my brain!!
