is a roll of baling wire/electric fence wire! It works for everything! You can hang waterers with it, you can lash heat bulbs to places with it, you can tie waterbottles to the fronts of the cages, plus so many more!

As a kid we tried to fix everything with baling wire.... I wouldn't even know where to find it now.

At present I'm using a lot of zip ties, but I'm finding they decay and break over time.

You can find it out back in our shop. There's tons of it. Everything you'd ever want on a farm is out in that shop. Got a need for a horse drawn hay rake? Yep, it's out there too.

If you don't live next door to gritsar you can also find it Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware and probably most other large hardware stores. It's in the aisle with their fencing supplies.

agree with HD, and Lowes....but around here it is in the concrete aisle.....used to tie rebar together.....still only couple bucks a roll that always gets lost before it is used up....LOL....at least around me....

I don't own a vechile that doesn't have a roll in it....

When I was a kid we always got baleing wire from bales of hay. Now they use string to hold the bales together. When I grew up I was amazed to see that people buy it in rolls from the store. What will they think of next? Sliced bread? Yea right!

We have a huge coil of rusty wire that is one of the few things that came with the house that is truly useful. I have used that wire for soooooooo many things.

What I want to know is: What is the difference between baling wire and just plain ol' wire?

Have I been using baling wire this whole time?

I found a roll of the electric fencing/hot fence wire stuff in the barn when we moved in. I use that wire for EVERYTHING!
