~ The Outcasted II ~ The Return ~ RP

Scar glared at Mika with a cold darkness that would have sent shadows running for the hills. "A kiss is supposedly a sign of love, and love doesn't exist. Therefore, you speak of something that has never, nor will ever, exist. I suggest that you drop this discussion, and leave it be." He snarled, then stood up and walked into his tiny kitchen to get a soda.

I KNEW HE WAS GONNA BE COLD.
But don't worry all you Akemi X Scar fans. The power of love shall compel Scar. c:< Soonish. Hopefully... ah, shut up. >->

Akemi's eyes fluttered closed for a second, then open again. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed, glancing around. "W-where...?" She whispered. "Ah, nevermind." She slowly slid off the edge of the bed, and disappeared out the door.

Beneath Scar, something crunched, like paper. It was a note from Akemi.

You both have apartments, a place to hide. What about me? I have nowhere to call my own, nowhere to hide when police are after me. Sometimes I think you're lucky to have somewhere to hide, somewhere to go when things get crappy.

Scar cursed under his breath after he read the note, getting up and going into the bedroom to change hoodies. All of his clothes were pitch black with minimum decoration so that no one would pay any attention to him. Walking back out to the livingroom, he glared at Mika. "Don't touch anything, don't mess with my stuff. I'll be back in a little while." He said, then went after Akemi.

Akemi was traipsing in a dark alleyway, and a guy was with her. Sporting loose, scruffy black hair and red eyes, he was a handsome guy, Akemi's age. He was speaking with her, a spark in his eyes, but a sad spark.
"You remember me, don't you?" It was almost a plea.
Akemi broadsided him. "Yes, I remember."
He took ahold of her shoulders. "What happened?"
"What do you mean, what happened?"
"To us."
"... That was a long time ago."
He was whispering now, his voice sad. "It wasn't that long."
Akemi sighed, looking him in the eye.
He tryed to move his hands to her sides, but she pushed him away. "Don't." A crackle spread through her skin.
He was silent.
Akemi was too, but only for a moment. "... Just don't."
"But... I still love you... I can't get over you, Akemi-sama."
Akemi froze.
"Come with me. I can offer you shelter from the police, anything you need. I need you, Akemi-sama."
"... I don't know."
"Please."
"... I can't." She begun to walk away.
"I'll help you find Midnight!" He called after her. His words froze Akemi to the spot.
"What...?"
"I'll help you." He walked closer. "Whatever it takes to at least be your friend again. Akemi-sama, please. I love you. I need you. I need you to feel whole myself. Please, Akemi-sama." He drew even closer.
But for once, Akemi was at a loss for words.

Scar watched from the shadows. Embers he thought to be long dead sparked in his heart, creating a roaring, black fire behind his blood-filled gaze. A demonic sound rose in his throat as he turned away. The so-called "love" was taking another of his allies. It softened them, making them worthless to him. He kept himself from love for a reason...it made him realize how much of his life had gone by without feeling anything. No love. No like. Only hate and revenge. He leaped up onto a nearby roof with almost animalistic skill, which he must have learned from Aric. "Love is for the weak and worthless." He murmured, trying to ignore the memory of his heart break. One girl, and only one, had ever found his love. But she destroyed him. Turned against him. Gave him over to the law. She claimed it was for his own good, but she didn't understand. He would never stop until he had his revenge. Even if it cost his life.

Scar didn't hear the rest of the conversation, nor did he care. Akemi was dead to him, and only her blood-lust and disbelief in love would be able to restore her. He went to the other side of town, unseen, and sat on a park bench. He'd had many memories in this place...more than he cared to remember. This was where he met the girl who tried to get him arrested. This was where he left her, crying in the pouring rain, her clothes soaked with the blood of the dead police he'd killed to escape.

This was also the last place he'd seen Aric and Jadyn.

Akemi was over his love. It was nothing to her, and had never existed in the first place. At least, not anymore.

She knew Scar had heard. She knew that she was probably dead to him. So be it. She had a plan, and she would win his respect again.
