Scar rushed back to Akemi's side, picking her up with surprising gentleness and carrying her out of the building. He signaled Mika to follow, then held Akemi with one arm and climbing onto the roof of another building. He took Akemi to an abandoned apartment where he'd set up a small, hard bed and a short dresser. A small TV sat in one corner, facing a worn out futon and a ragged La-Z-Boy recliner. Scar put Akemi on the bed, then sat down in the La-Z-Boy, sighing.The memories became too much for Akemi. She staggered to one side, as she grew light-headed and her vision begun to fade, and the flashbacks kept coming - until she fell to the floor on her side, unconscious.

Akemi could see these images before her eyes.
Her face was blank, but her fist gripped the cloth so hard her knuckles were white.
"Nevermind." Mika said. "Oh! I know! Maybe you should kiss her and see if she wakes up!" she said to Scar. She grinned joking around figuring that his response would be as cold as he always was.
