"It's... only a question of how much longer I can make it..." Akemi mumbled, her breathing becoming slower by the minute. "I am trying my hardest... You know I don't want to leave... You know that."
A blonde haired guy walked up, shoving Scar aside and kneeling beside her. "Akemi-sama. You disobeyed again. I told you, too much botulinum will make you ill."
"It wasn't a choice." She coughed.
"Yeah, well 'wasn't a choice' could have got you killed." He offered her a small bottle. Akemi sat up, running a hand through her hair.
"I know you hate it. But drink it. You'll die otherwise."
"Knox-senpai, you suck." She snatched the bottle, drinking the liquid. Her eyes snapped open, flared red for a moment, before turning back to their icy blue.
"Don't make me come again."
"Don't forget that I can kick your butt from here to the other side of town!" She called after him. He flipped her off, then left. Akemi rolled her eyes. "My brother... He's such an idiot."
"Real nice guy..." Scar muttered, staggering up from the floor and grabbing his mask. He picked up some pain medication and sat on the couch. His face twisted in pain as he removed bullets from his own side and legs, tossing them in the trash.
"Yeah, a real idiot." Akemi sighed. Her skin was still pale, however she acted as if everything was alright. She watched out the window, almost longingly.
She sat atop a random rooftop, her legs pulled to her chest. It didn't matter. Once we have succeded in our revenge, he is only going to leave the first chance he gets. Then, I will be alone again.
Tears burned in the back of her eyes.
"But I do not want to be alone anymore... I don't." She murmured.
