"I... don't know anymore." Akemi murmured. "I-I don't know at all..." She dropped to her knees, both hands on the side of her head.

Scar looked back over his shoulder at her, his eyes filled with sadness. "Just when things start to get good...something comes up to ruin it." He whispered, then turned away again.

Akemi still shivered slightly, but she pulled herself to her feet and picked up her gun. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."

"'Kemi, drop the gun..." Scar said quietly, not turning around. "C'mon...let's...just go home."

He turned to look at her kindly. "With me. As long as I'm around, you'll always have a home, 'Kemi..."

Akemi didn't answer, only turned away and leapt onto a nearby windowsill, up to a roof, and then she was gone, just as it begun to snow.
