Akemi didn't ask who it was. Van was about to, except Akemi stopped him: "Don't ask, Van. It's probably part of his 'unfinished business'." Akemi's eyes took on a hard, cold glare, looking at no one in particular.

"I'm sorry, 'Kemi, but I don't want you to get involved in this. I don't want you get hurt..." Scar mumbled, focusing on the road.

 

[TechnoCat]

The Undertaker gave little chuckle, hardly audible.
Akemi said nothing. The glare in her eyes remained.

Scar was silent, putting his phone on silent as it rang again.

Akemi slipped her headphones back on, turning on Metallica. She blocked out the world, ignoring people and forgetting all her stress. She watched the window.
Hours ticked by, and Akemi never said anything.

Scar fell deep into his thoughts, his brow furrowing behind his mask.

What did I say... And why did I say that?! Akemi was ticked. I'm an idiot.
