Enna could tell that people were talking over her but she couldn't bring herself to care about it anymore, the soft blackness that was slowly pulling her in seemed to be a much better thing to focus on.

"Cool," Seth said as they walked into the clearing and were able to see the main building. "Nice place you've got here."

James nodded, not hesitating as he picked up the girl. "Let's go."

Ella got up and started sprinting back to the camp.

James couldn't run, so instead he fast ealked.

Ella continued sprinting, looking back every now and then. "How is she doing?" Ella asked while still sprinting.

Aaaand we missed each other. Again.
They came up behind a small cottage. It was made of stone and wood, and it had vines climbing up two sides. There were gardens around it, as well as lots of birdhouses and bird feeders. "My home," Jinx said, sweeping her free arm out to gesture at the cottage.

Ella continued sprinting, looking back every now and then. "How is she doing?" Ella asked while still sprinting.

"As well as she was two minutes ago," James replied.
