Jessie went to talk to her horse that Star had given her. She jumped on the horse and rode out bareback. She loved to feel the warm horse against her legs. She closed her eyes for a moment as the wind rushed through her hair. She raced through the forest.
Suddenly, Mali slammed straight into Jessie. She fell backward, dropping her knife. "Augh, wha...?" she grumbled, grasping her forehead.
The horse reared. Jessie fell knocking her out of breath for a moment. Then she slowly got up. "You ok Mali?" She asked.

"Augh, yeah, I think so." Mali said, removing her hand and revealing a steady stream of blood, smeared on her hand and forehead.
Jessie stood up. "You should go back to camp and get some medicine, or something like a yowl to stop the blood. Want a ride?"
"S-sure." she said, hetistantly. Blood began to trickle down her neck.
Jessie got Mali on the horse then got on the back of the horse. They started back towards camp.
Mali wiped off a lot of blood and began to feel dangerously dizzy.
Blake paced back and forth in front of the door to the cabin Star was in.
