He looked around, "Is this an okay place to sleep? Or do you want to keep going?" Adam said as he sat on a nearby rock.

"Is that a bad thing?"

"This is fine," Madge assured him, sitting beside him.

She shook her head and looked away.

He nodded, "Good. I have a few blankets...." He dug in his bag.

"Why you so quiet Pidge?"

Madge shifted her weight from her left to her wait foot while she waited.

He took out 3 big blankets and laid one down on the soft grass.

She bit her bottom lip, "I'm not. I say you are."

Madge sat cross legged on the blanket.

"I'm not the quiet one," He answered her "you are. So tell me what's eating you?"

He tossed her one of the blankets and sat next to her.

She gave a tiny smile and looked at her hands.

Madge wrapped it around her shoulders, looking up at the trees.

He tipped her chin up with a single finger, cocking his head. "Is it because Madge left?"

"Warm enough?" Adam asked.

"Part of it." She looked into his eyes.

Madge nodded.

"What's the other half of it?"
