~~The Parrot RP~~

(Alder is a crow. The story for him is when he was adopted by another crow family, his name was not of a strong thing, such as Thorn or Fire, so he was shunned. A council of ravens called the Boundless Ravens created a fase prophecy that the crow of a lesser name would destroy the crow and raven's traditions and ways of living. Now a flock of crows have been following Alder for some time and are threatening to kill him, so he is leading them to the Boundless Ravens to convince them that the prophecy is untrue, if they will listen to him.)

(What you said  )

(Sure)

The ravens sitting in the tree stared at the flock of crows, beak dropped open. Alder dodged the attacking crows and landed at the top of a tree. "That prophecy is a lie!" he cawed loudly for all to hear and dove into a pine tree to hide, signaling the two parrots to speak.
"What's going on?!" a raven squawked.

The conures flew down to where the corvids were and looked at each other before making their speech.
"Alder is not a curse," Cloudy started.

"And who are you to state that? Do you not realize you are meddling with the truth of a prophecy? That wretched crow is cursed and deserves to die ever since he came here." another raven declared, staring down the two conures. The council of ravens murmured among themselves in agreement.

"That's what you made up!" Cloudy yelled at them.
"Yeah, you don't have proof!" Sky said.
"Why do you care what his name is anyways? Any one of you can have a bad name. No one gets to choose their own name," Cloudy added.

The other ravens and crows not part of the council gasped at the conures' words. The Boundless Ravens began to grow eneasy. "The parents of a crow or raven choose their offspring's name; apparently that crow's parents were not part of our society. We care very deeply for the well-being of our community and strive to keep our fellow crows and ravens strong; their names are part of what keeps them strong. Also, you cannot just change a raven or crow's name; it is something they live with for life."
