Yeah, I know how you feel. I still miss my best friend who I haven't seen for five years, but we're an entire hemisphere apart so there's no way we can see each other until we're older and have money.
But we do still talk, we email, have each other as friends on Facebook and sometimes send real letters for special occasions like birthdays and Christmas... even though the postage is a right rip-off.

It's been taking me a while to reply because I'm multitasking (working on a physics assignment right now, have a geography one to do still)

I wonder how I even ended up on BYC. I joined a long time ago because I'd just gotten chickens and was excited to show off to someone.
