Momma Bella has shown some renewed interest in sitting and protecting her eggs. She had 2 in there today and fingers crossed I didn’t disturb her too much. We covered the entrance to the finch house with a washer to hopefully keep the budgies out and I added a new house outside that the troublemakers seem to have claimed

Momma Bella now has at least 7 eggs under her again (this is her 4th clutch)
Based on the number of eggs, my guess is that hatching should begin by Easter!!!

I have 13??? Placed last 5 babies in foster care and 2 have found permanent homes so far. Momma Bella is on a nest of 7+ eggs due to start hatching anytime now and my second house has 3 eggs in it (but not sure if anyone is brooding them)

I’m sending most of the new hatches to foster care to be hand-raised and find forever homes. Ive made $40 so far!!!!
