I’m sending most of the new hatches to foster care to be hand-raised and find forever homes. Ive made $40 so far!!!!

My dates must be off a bit....no budgie hatches yet but momma still sitting on 7-9 eggs!!! She tolerates me picking her up to check on them without leaving the nest box so that’s a definite plus!!!!

I ran completely out of food yesterday so I mashed up my Easter eggs (quail) and put them out this morning......they weren’t overly impressed but happy when I filled up all the feeders with fresh seed delivered this afternoon

Budgie babies hatching 1 or 2 so far!!!!

We’re up to 3 babies in Bella’s nest!!! Boogie has paired with one of the albino babies and the new nest has about 6 eggs in it now...... she is brooding them as I would love to see some green and yellow babies!!!! The finches finally have a new successful nest. We’re thinking of moving it into a cage and hopefully separating MOM and Dad with them until they fledge to protect them from the budgies.
