Redhen, isn't it just terrible about those poison spiders that only
    live in Massachusetts?

I don't remember what they were called...but I remember reading
about them once. Deadly poison. Only come out at night. They seem
to be found most hiding in a womans pillow at night...sleeping until the
heat from your head wake them, then they come crawling out from your
pillowcase. First place they get to is your hair. It's what makes them so
deadly...from your hair, they crawl in your ears.

No way am I sleeping in Massachusetts.

    Enjoy yourself...

Oh, and I forgot to tell you about my Uncle Ronnie...

He had to be hospitalized last year after his vacation to
Cape Cod. Seems he got into a nest of some wierd miniature
    spiders.

They were so small that they "fell" through the pores of his skin.
They actually got under his skin....almost drove him insane. He could
feel them crawling on him and would scratch and scratch...he literally
tore his skin off. It was worse anyplace that was normally covered by
    by clothes.

He spent almost six months in an asylum. Still having skin grafts.

    No more vacations for him....

Quote:Yes, Arachnosus poritis Mass. subspecies. They are known to hatch in pig feces and conduct most of their lives in very innocuous behavior; however, one of their intermediate growth phases requires that they feed upon human plasma. They access this through the skin beneath clothing. They are generally quite rare , but are becoming more common with the keeping of mini pigs. Some thought is given to the possibility that mini pigs might be another intermediate host. Nudity is the best protection against infestation.
