It's a clip saying 23 breeders met with a national judge to have an exhibition to increase awareness of the breed and it mentions a slaughter house, but I'm not sure if the context means they have reclaimed a slaughter house already or if the idea was brought back to the table at their meeting.

Edit: it was a slaughter house acquired specifically for their production. I clarified myself hah.

No, not right now -- I don't expect them to start again until after the solstice. Odile is finishing up a hard molt, and Odette is kind of broody at the moment. She is also molting, but much more gradually. I did notice Odile eating some oyster shell today, though, so I wondered if maybe she is thinking about laying an egg.

It would not surprise me if she laid an egg. They do lay eggs in the winter.
