The Pita Pinta Asturiana

Pics
Thank you! She is a tiny thing so not going to be a top choice for breeding but she has earned herself a place in my layer flock.

I've been bad about getting photos of my birds so took a few yesterday. It can hard to get pics of them because they are right up in my face as soon as I get down on their level. I have lots of pullets and cockerels available if anyone in N CA is interested!

Good pictures, Debi. Patio is a cutie. I would like to see another picture of her when she is older

Here it is! The first egg from the third generation.

It is perfect!

Always a surprise to find that first egg,
and nice looking egg, too. My 2 PP pullets will be 4 mos., early Sept. So, a few more weeks to go.
My 1 year + EO hen is going through her first molt, and I had no idea what was happening until no eggs and her bad attitude. @Ballerina Bird ., I can empathize with you about the first molt

Thanks, @Henthused ! I have my bag of Feather Fixer ready to go and will keep everyone posted.

@PetRock , those are totally cute pictures. Agree about wanting to see Patio all grown up!

Cute! I need to take some new pics of mine. I need to decide which girls get to stay for breeding and which ones I need to find homes for.
A couple of wees ago a person on one of the Heritage threads posted about an old time breeder that gave them a tip.

Remove the roosts of show quality large fowl and have them sleep on the floor. He said that roosts will bend their keels!
