Ethan's eyes widened in shock at how quickly she noticed him, but the action was useless, because he was in the shadows. "On your side." he called out to her. He didn't really ever want to give his name to strangers. If she specifically asks for my name, I might tell her. Maybe. After all, she IS pointing a bow at me. His thoughts were interrupted by a shuffling behind him. The stench of rotten flesh grew stronger, and he whirled around. He swung the crowbar at the Zen's head, and heard a satisfying CRACK as the creature's skull caved in with the force of the metal bar. His eyes scanned the darkness for any other Zen.

An arrow whizzed by his head as it his dead in the middle of a zombie's heart. A screech escaped its mouth as it fell to the floor. "Get out of the shadows, so I can see you." She said through her teeth, drawing another arrow back. She blew a strand of hair from her eyes and kept her arrow aimed at him.

Saluna heard a noise outside and she suddenly stopped thinking about everything. She tightly gripped the pistol in her hands and stood up. She glanced at her parents who sat in the living room. Their skin was pale and eyes, lifeless.

Kyle pointed the assault rifle at his mothers head. She had become infected and was coming at him like the b**** she always was. He fired and it hit her in the eye. Blood splattered on his jacket. The great feel of satisfaction made him let out a small chuckle.
