Bell glanced to Helen with a smile and waited for Vira to lead them out of this city.

'Yup." Ethan called, and climbed into the passenger seat. He took several guns from his pack and passed the extra pack to Lexie, who sat in the seat behind Vira. She took it and put it at her feet, with her pack as well.
Lexie finally spoke up. "So, where are we going? Do you have a specific destination in mind, or just... away?"

Joseph sat in his truck. He turned the key and the diesel roared to life. He revved the engine twice, signaling that he was waiting. He turned to The Jeep and stared at Vira. "After you," he mouthed and waved for her to go. He turned and looked at the girls in the Outback behind him. "At least everyone got good cars."

Bell noticed him looking and gave him a little wave and a thumbs up to signal that she was ready to go. She looked around at the others then to Helen "I wish we had dad's truck, but this will do" She said

She scanned the tree line, looking for something. Finally, she spotted it. It was hard to see, but it was a narrow road through the woods that led to the city, but big enough for bigger cars than the ones they were driving.

Joseph waved the other cars around him, bringing up the tail end. He reached into his pack in the passenger seat, pulling out a bottle of water and taking a long drink. He checked the instrument panel as he pulled away, noting that he had a full tank of fuel. "Wonder if she bothered to bring diesel, or did she just grab gasoline?" he thought to him self. Either way, he doubted that they were going more than 300 miles away, so he would make it just fine.

Lexie frowned. "You didn't answer my question." she said.

Ethan rolled down his windpw and took out a Heckler & Koch MP5. He stuck the end out the window and started shooting at any Zen that were stupid enough to get near the vehicles.
