For my moms birthday today, we visited a botanical garden. It was very lovely although large parts of it were under construction. My favorite part, though I don’t have pictures, was this pond that had tons of wildlife. I saw snakes, bullfrogs, red winged blackbirds, herons, muskrats, dragonflies and a huge snapping turtle.
In one of the gardens there was some stonecrop succulents. One of the pieces had broken off, so naturally I took it 

 (If you haven’t seen my old houseplant thread, I love ‘stealing’ fallen leaves and broken cuttings from stores and taking them home to propagate. I learned it’s called ‘proplifting’).

Gasteria from a big pot (which I plan to un-plant and then replant eventually), as well as my newly adopted stonecrop and a few baby succs I propagated from Home Depot leaves!
I think I might decorate the pot a bit more with some pretty crystals or pebbles or something.
