I love these! You have great word choice and I love the imagery your poems create too.
I write poems too sometimes, though most of them are either for English projects or they’re vent poems. And I’ve only written two of those, so I guess I don’t write as many as I want to. It’s really quite fun.

I only wrote those when I was feeling inspired by an idea.
Like a lot of famous artists are never appreciated until they die, spiders aren’t appreciated for their art.
Or the paradox of mice being good and cats being evil in media but cats being beloved and mice being hated by many.
I haven’t had an idea like that for years for some reason.

Those are fantastic observations. Those kinds of things are great for poems I’ve found. The little bits of irony, paradox, etc in life.

The problem is the only irony I ever see is very dark.

Yeah that’s one of my favorites!

@puffypoo there were these kitties at a petting zoo barn at the fair and I saw a rare chocolate and white barn cat. Front and right. He has ghost markings and is darker than a tabby.
