I tried incubating pheasants in with my chickens, and it did not work. I candled them at day 5 but not again until day 18, and at day 18 I found that while my chicken eggs looked normal as far as air cell went, the pheasant air cells were huge. I run abot 53% humidty.

Out of 15 or so pheasant eggs only 3 hatched due to the huge air cells but the chickens were fine.

what humidity do you all use for pheasants....

i had pheasants in with my chickens and had the opposite result. more pheasants hatched than chickens! my humidity ran around 40-45% the whole time. i even messed up and put the eggs all in on the same day. which meant, when i brought the humidity up and stopped turning the chickens, the pheasant were three days early for this to happen. i just had to take a chance and let them go, and they did great. of course, ten people will have ten different results too.

On my Dicky incubator I run about 62% humidity the whole time, have them hatching like popcorn, chickens and peafowl too.
