Hello!
I am a teacher that has started a program at school for hatching and raising chickens! Previously, we hatched the incubated eggs in our life cycle unit and gave them away at the end of the school year. I was the new kid on the block and thought, "Why don't we keep the girls?" Little did I know what I was getting myself into! So here in my second year, we have hatched the original incubated eggs and now we have two clutches from our broody mamas. My daughter and I built the coop, which I affectionately call my Poultry Palace!
I owe everything I know about chicken to this website and my local chicken enthusiast, Lois. The two of you have kept me afloat and loving my girls!
