MIFChick and a couple of other chickens have been singing the pre-egg song for weeks. No eggs. Sigh.

I had one that would do the egg song for everything...pre-egg song, post egg song, egg rooting song when others were laying...

After her first egg, she grumbled under her breath for hours!

I am laughing so hard...just played this on my computer and my teen daughter who was napping on the couch just popped up and freaked wondering why the chickens are in the house!! ;D

Mrs. Poon is the only one that sings the eggs song, whether it's her egg or the Golden Comet, who lays her egg, comes out of the nest box and goes about her business like nothing happened. I recorded the egg song on my cell phone and when Mrs. Poon stops singing, I play it for her and she starts up again. Loving it!!
