well.. i have some chickens that are "wild" and a man from CraigsList came over to pick up some chickens we already had caged and ready for him and there was a certain "wild" rooster that he just fell in love with and he HAD to have that rooster.. i told him.. that we would have to catch it and he was really excited for it.. long story short.. in the end, a grown Indian man was running around in the woods around my property chasing my roosters with a very large fishing net yelling "this is just like Fiji!!" same question.
Hmmm.....I've had so many funny experiences with my flock but one of my favorites happened earlier this year. I was bringing a treat out to my flock and one of my RIRs named Jill was missing. So of course I freaked out and ran around the yard looking for her and calling her name. Finally I went back to the coop and was about to go and ask my sister to help me look for her when I heard a soft clucking coming from the side of the coop. I went to investigate the sound and there under a piece of metal that was propped up against the coop was Jill. I picked her up and she was sitting on about 5-6 eggs. So that wasn't the first time she had decided to lay her eggs there. Silly chicken.
