5 cats 2 dogs, we have 1RIR 1 black sex link 1 red sex link 3 leghorns 1 buff 2 Welsummers 1 forget what she is she is all black with shinny green lays green eggs. The store we got them from only had mix hens in the cage, the leg horns did not come from that store.

Do you run out into the yard to chase off a predator trying to get your flock?

It would be a tough choice between my Seramas and bantam Cochins. I would probably end up going with Cochins though because they're hardier and don't have to come inside durin the winter XD
