No, but good on you for wanting to help that unfortunate bird, she does look to be in rather a sorry state. I'm glad to hear she's come to a good home!

What've you been doing this weekend?

Mowed the yard. Trans planted some hosta Lilly plants, and my father n law came in from out of state to visit and my parents are coming tomorrow to visit and swim. Oh and we worked eith my horse some more with Boeing on command with a rider on his back. He did great by the way!

I just rescued this girl from a flea market market today. I couldn't just leave her after seeing her.

What happened to her

I went to my local flea market yesterday just to look around. We have never been there b/4. As soon as u walk in there were these chicken just stacked in tiny cages no food no water in most of them (they were in the shade) and it was 90 degrees. I started to cry right away. They all had something going on and all looked aweful. Some had eye infections, swollen eyes, missing eyes, missing feathers, cuts, gashes, open sores. Crossed beaks, twisted beaks. Just horrible. I only had the room at my house to save one so I picked out the worst one I could find (in a hurry b/c I had to get out of that place). And saw this poor girl. I just had to save at least one tho my heart broke as I walked away and left the rest behind. They had sharp and goats just stacked in the back if pick up trucks. Rabbits by 20 or 30 stacked in these tiny cages. (I know small cages are used in transport and things but these was just rediculous.
So I got her and named her rainbow. I thought rainbow was perfect b/c 1 she is beautiful to me. And 2 god made a promise with a rainbow and do did I. I promised her she would never live like that again.

Sometimes but not if there are clowns. I hate clowns!!!!

Does your family understand u? ( as is understand how u feel about ur animals or do they think ur silly to love ur animals as much as u do?)
