THE QUAIL ARE HATCHING! HELP!!

    I had a curly-footed bird reach maturity who got around without a problem (he had to be culled for separate reasons, but was in excellent health up until that point). I'm sure yours will be just fine.

    Thanks so much for the insight... yes, she seems to get along just fine and seems happy... even with a snagglefoot. When the chick was born she couldn’t stand on the foot at all, so the correction I did at least made some difference.

    A little after the fact now, but when I make a shoe I leave it on until it falls off naturally, at which point the toes are generally corrected. And yes, no reason to wait for them to maybe fix themselves on their own since it's just a minor inconvenience for the baby to have a shoe on.
