Butterscotch let out a sigh as she made her way over to the side where the drinks were, “oh Lord” she sighed when she noticed a bit of food on her dress, quickly she ducked up the stairs to change. She put on a dark blue cocktail dress. “I don’t care if I look like a walking night sky” she said. Then it hit her, her bandages were showing, she decided whatever. The Emerald dagger was even tucked in her belt she had made. Butterscotch sat down in a chair and winced as she did so. Her leg had turned painful again. She knew that the dark blue did not go with her brown hair so she just kept quiet waiting for the last dance when she’d have to say no. She was in to much pain for that. Butterscotch spotted Alfi coming over and smiled. “Enjoying yourself Alf?” She asked, “ofcoarse” he smiled “that Lolly is a real beauty”. “I know” she sighed, “phew the dance is nearly over” she sighed. Alfi noticed the bandages “what happened?” He asked looking concerned, “I may have had a building collapse on me” she smiled sheepishly. “And when were you going to mention this little detail?” He asked “um maybe.......never” Butterscotch winced waiting for him to explode but Alfi wasn’t that kind of bird. He looked a bit hurt but shrugged it off and smiled. “So I take it your in better shape now?” He asked. “Never better” she winked laughing. Butterscotch and Alfi had shared a relationship a close friendship but nothing more. Butterscotch winked, “I do hope you hit it off with Lolly because I fell she’s to against love, I fear she’s never actually felt love for anybody other than her family”. “Well you haven’t exactly either” Alfi pointed out. Butterscotch twisted her face, “this wasn’t about me you fool”.
