Polly, flouncing about with her new necklace, asked Lolly, "How do I look? Oh, Isn't this just wonderful! We're going to a ball!"
Lolly just nodded slightly and picked at her anklet. "I'd prefer something other than flowers." She said, a bit grumpily. "Oh, don't pick at it!" Polly chided. "You look lovely, dear!" Polly brang Lolly towards the mirror. "Look at you! You are gorgeous." Lolly looked a bit stringier next to the plump and sleek Polly, but the flowers added a nice touch to the colors of her feathers. "Thanks, Polly." Then she sighed. "It is such a shame that Brienna has to come."
