Ok let me think this through. So there is only one breed of chicken: a chicken. However there are many varieties of chickens: Buff Orpingtons, RIRS, Easter Eggers, etc. Same with ducks, and turkeys. Ok...that makes sense.
No, there are many breeds of chicken. There are also many breeds of ducks. There is only one recognized breed of turkeys (Turkey) but the Ocellated turkey may be its own separate breed although unrecognized mainly because it is not really a domestic turkey. Helmeted Guinea Fowl are also recognized as just one breed broken down into color varieties.

You all and your grammer... :lau It's ok. Not everybody is good at English. I can't do Math, but give me an idea for an essay and I can turn out a fine paper. Most people that I've met can do Math but not English. I don't like it, but I can do it. And some lucky people are good at everything school-related, but have less common sense than my ducks. It takes all sorts of people to make an interesting world...although sometimes I honestly think I'd be better off without smart alecks.
No smart alecks? I'd die of boredom.
