I personally think Amer’s pigeon head was also taken from a pigeon, so she wouldn’t be a hideous beast because of a lethal injury. So she was actually just a headless woman before then.

Or she just always wore a pigeon mask and eventually became pigeon-headed for real.

Sorta.

Can I be a mermaid with a kraken mouth that gets human legs when on land?
I still look the same but with a kraken-like mouth that opens when needed. And I can swim like a fish and breath underwater.
